A late 19th/early 20th century tortoiseshell page turner with silver mounted reading lens. The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham, but the mark is quite worn so difficult to make out the exact date. It is most likely from the Edwardian period. The glass lens is clear, and works well for reading small print. An elegant piece!
