A naively executed oil on board painting of rural scene, featuring a farmer with his dog and prize cow. It is inscribed 'This cow fed by Thos. Chandler Esq. took 1st Prize at Heathfield and was sold for £52 in 1854'. Signed 'G. Andrews'. A highly decorative panel, oozing folk art charm. Recently framed.
