A midcentury gouache painting of St. Mary's churchyard by Donald Tapster (1928-2012). Signed and dated January 1954. Original chamfered frame.



Tapster was an art teacher at King Edward VI School, Bury St Edmunds in the late 1950s. He went on to be the head of art at Holyrood School, Chard.
