Antique French Single Oak Tambour Filing Cabinet


An original antique single tambour. The tambour retains its original brass pull handle and key. The tambour front will move up and down to reveal the inner shelving, with the key enabling the opening and locking of the tambour front. The internal shelving consists of a single pull out wooden tray drawer and 4 plywood shelves finished in black, these can be moved to accommodate the desired shelving heights. The tray drawer retains its brass name label holder. The tambour sits on a set of 4 wheels raising it very slightly from the floor and to enable movement. The tambour front features vertical rolling wood slats that slide into the unit base so when closed keeps all that clutter hidden away.

Workshop Report: Original condition, there are some age related markings to the wooden top, the roller runs smoothly without any damage, the tambour has been waxed for future protection.
