Antique Victorian Belgium Mini Greenhouse – C

A unique antique metal greenhouse. The greenhouse has been constructed from an original grape greenhouse from Belgium, these larger greenhouses were dismantled and smaller ones made from the components. The glazing and metal frame is original and retains its original patina. The mini greenhouse has a pair of opening doors at the front held closed by a metal peg. Internally there is a glass shelf on either side. The metal base is mounted on casters to enable easy movement around the garden to ensure an optimal sunny or shady location. There is a leaded ridgeline to the roof top.

Circa: 1920s
Workshop Report: The greenhouse is structurally sound with natural ageing to the glass and metalwork – the steel base and wheels are new. As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
