Articulated 4 Arm Vintage Jielde Floor Lamp – A
A truly versatile industrial lamp designed by Jean-Louis Domecq – The name “Jielde” comes from the French pronunciation of his initials: Ji-eL-De, these lamps have no internal wiring so can articulate at the joints with amazing flexibility, reducing and increasing height or changing direction with ease. The lamp shade and arms are steel, the base and joints are aluminium. The lamp has the original Jielde plate on the shade neck.
The lamp paintwork has been stripped back and lightly polished. The lamp scone doesn’t have any visible dents and the inside paintwork is clean. It has a rocker switch on the shade neck to turn the lamp on and off.
A solid metal base has been added to the base of the lamp for stability. The lamp has been rewired with new vintage grey fabric cable, new E27 Lampholder and fitted with a new UK 3 Pin plug ready for use.
