These exceptional chairs were made by Kingfisher, the company started life at the end of the 19th Century as The Fisher Furniture Co. Ltd, on the High Street, West Bromwich. In it's heyday it was one of the largest furniture producers in England. This model of stacking chair is their iconic chair, robustly made from solid beech with iron strap work detail for strength. The chairs are a decent seat height of 46cm and were widely used in schools, colleges and community centres throughout the UK and abroad. For chairs of nearly a hundred years of age they are in great condition, solid practical chairs, but do expect some gentle movement in the frames although the steel strapping makes a very strong joint specifically designed to withstand daily use. Our workshop has cleaned and serviced them, they are good to go.
Seat Height: 47cm
