1940’s Bentwood Maxwood Dining Arm Chairs – Pair. Good pair by the producer Maxwood, it is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century Maxwood was a bentwood maker in Poland alongside the great Radomsko. These chairs are 1940’s, beautiful surviving and fascinating chairs, the pair are slightly mismatched in detail but we bought them as a pair and that's how they are. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced and sensitively restored, we only sell vintage of excellent quality.
