1950’s French Single Hoop Back Dining Chairs – Pair. Classic beech single hoop back dining chairs made in France. The process of steam bending beech to create elegant chairs was discovered and developed by Thonet. These chairs date from the 1950’s, a classic shape with a rich colour and character and a slim elegant back with a single hoop. Sadly we don't know the maker but we believe them to be Baumann. We service and wax each chair before it leaves our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality.
