1960's Good Sized Mid Century Red Door Open Wardrobe - Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody and designed by Frantisek Mezulanik. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The main cabinet is made from well figured birch with a contrasting interior. The whole cabinet is beautifully made sitting on dark sapele pin legs. The interior features a full hanging rail space on the right and a number of adjustable shelves on the right. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet so all drawers and doors run well and the cabinet is in exceptional original condition.
