1920's original two door Forge de Strasbourg locker. The Forge de Strasbourg was founded in the South East of France in 1919. They were one of the global pioneers of the manufacture of sheet metal furniture principally for industry, and undoubtedly recognisable by the signature rippled steel finish. In 1926 the company launched the brand 'Strafor' and moved into atelier furniture with more sophisticated and branded pieces. The early 'pre Strafor' pieces are recognisable by their utilitarian design and absence of branding. This locker is an exceptional two door example in superb original condition with its original paint and several original hooks. We love the slotted front detail and the feet are exceptional.
