1930's French Cane Hoop Back Dining Chairs - Set Of Four.

Classic beech hoop back dining chairs made in France by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child's chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. These are not marked Baumann but given their age and design we believe they are made by Baumann. We have cleaned them, that's all. Stunning original patina. We service and wax each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. The chairs and cane are in excellent condition. Seat Height 48cm.
