1930’s Original Cast Base French Metal Dining Table. A totally original small rectangular cast base 1930’s French table. The cast base was made by a good foundry displaying the foundry makers mark which looks like a stylised LV, Paris, we have seen the mark before but not yet been able to identify the maker. The fluted detail on the base is crisp and intricate for this type of casting indicating a good maker. The cross support underneath is original and the top is the original four plank pine top which we have left as we found it, oozing character. Some of the top planks have bowed slightly but we like it just as it is, a rare original survivor, it is a strong and stable table. Knee clearance height : 70cm.
