Item Details

1950’s French Single Bar Back Farmhouse Dining Chairs. We haven't seen this model before and can't identify the maker so we think they must have been made by a local producer. Well made and full of character. The back leg has a graceful shape and the overall design is a classic fifties bistro chair. These chairs are hand cut in beech and hand batched, but they have stood the test of time. We have cleaned them, that's all. Stunning original patina with warm coloured frames. As they are handmade, the chairs have slight differences in styles and height, but overall, they are the same chair. We service and wax each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality.
