1950’s French Original Workshop Multidrawer Cabinet – Industrial Green. One of our favourite finds, we sourced this cabinet in Lille where it was hiding in the back of a tool making workshop. The cabinet is crudely, but well made, probably built by a local carpenter to fit the workshop at the time. The cabinet is heavy and substantial and houses ninety two drawers, all of which open smoothly, a mixture of which have internal fittings which are generally not removable. The pressed metal handles are original throughout as is the classic industrial green painted finish. The top is the original planked pitch pine. Internal drawer size small drawers, L32 x W21 x H5 , Large drawers L32 x W21 x H9, all cm’s.
