1950’s Mahieu Bentwood Classic Dining Chairs – Set Of Four. Classic 50’s beech bistro chair made in France by the maker Mahieu. Not much is known of the history of Mahieu except they were a was a small artisanal producer in Romeries in the north of France, and closed its production in the 1980’s. A classic French bentwood producer in the same style as Baumann, Thonet or J.J. Kohn. This set is very original with a rich warm honey colour, well shaped backs and a well loved colour and character.
