1950's Original French Scrubbed Pine Farmhouse Table. Good honest French smaller farmhouse table. Interestingly the base is made of solid oak and the top is planked pitch pine. The table was extremely well made, the drawers have dovetail joints, the main frame is dowelled and the planked top has been finished with rounded end caps. This table was originally probably made for a chateau kitchen, a working table with a scrubbed top before sitting gathering character in a barn. Our workshop has serviced the table and drawers so it is strong and stable and the two drawers run well, but we have deliberately left the character. Knee clearance 59cm. Internal drawer dimensions - L55 x H10 x W46 all cm.
