"1960’s Four Drawer Shelved Mid Century Cabinet – Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The cabinet is made in two pieces, the lower section has four drawers with contrasting solid sapele handles, the top section has two adjustable shelves enclosed behind two sliding glass doors. The whole cabinet is well made in oak, sitting on sapele pin legs, beautifully made and in exceptional condition. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet and all doors open smoothly.
