1960's Good Sized Mid Century Chest Of Drawers - Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The main cabinet is made from well figured birch with contrasting figured and selected sapele drawers. The whole cabinet is beautifully made sitting on dark sapele pin legs. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet so all drawers and doors run well and the cabinet is in exceptional original condition.
