1960’s Good Sized Mid Century Wardrobe – Up Zavody. Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody and designed by Frantisek Mezulanik. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The inside of the wardrobe is split in two, the left side features well spaced adjustable/removable shelves with three small tray drawers, the right side is full length hanging with one adjustable shelf. The main cabinet is made from well figured oak with a contrasting birch interior. The whole cabinet is beautifully made sitting on darker sapele pin legs. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet so all drawers and doors run well and the cabinet is in exceptional original condition.
