1960's Practical Folding Shelf - Up Zavody. Practical piece of mid century by the Czech maker Up Zavody. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The shelf is made from solid oak with a simple folding mechanism which adds strength due to the cantilever but is also a space saving feature for a tight hallway. Our workshop has gently cleaned, serviced and waxed the shelf. The shelf hangs on hidden brackets.
