Item Details
Classic oak stool with tapering legs and interwoven leather strap seat. Although unmarked and slightly taller than usual, it is a well-known Arts and Crafts design by Arthur Simpson of Kendal.English, early 20th century.
Still serviceable as a stool although the leather has stretched from use. Otherwise a great footstool or decorative piece for stacking cushions or blankets while not in use.
