A pair of French fireside or bedroom chairs raised on front-turned stained beech legs, 19th century. Both with sturdy frames and well sprung seats. There are old braces securing the frames and splitting to one front leg, though this is not structurally compromising so purely cosmetic. Stripped back for recovering. 74 x 61 x 68 cm (29.1 x 24.0 x 26.8 ") Seat height: 35 cm (13.8 ")
