An exquisite piece that once decorated a lady's parasol. The delicate carving, showing a figure of a lady, reveals every fold and pattern of the figure's clothing. A parasol was an important status symbol, as a protector against the heat of the sun, and an ornamental one such as this was all the more special. A one of a kind piece.
