A theatrical image of London cloaked in darkness. The photographer has captured the imposing tower above St James' Park tube station, lit by street lights in this atmospheric scene. The composition and tone of this piece are highly reminiscent of the work of 1930's photographers John Morrison and Harold Burdekin, who captured similar scenes for the book London Night (1934).
