Rare and just fabulous, vintage black leather sofa set by Sigurd Ressell produced by Vatne Mobler, Norway, circa 1967. The set consists of a 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, an original coffee table with removable top and internal storage space and a scratch built matched coffee table. 


In excellent condition, and recently refurbished by Andy Blundell Restoration, the set is structurally sound and looks amazing. The sofa and chairs have the original rubber seat supports, produced by Pirelli, plus a handy spare one. The leather, feather filled cushions have a gorgeous, nicely worn patina. The original Ressell pieces have large, oversized chrome fixings, whereas the scratch built table doesn’t. 


It's extremely rare to come across an entire matching set of Sigurd Ressell furniture. It’s full of Scandinavian Mid Century style, is extremely comfortable and just soooo cool...
