Item Details

An attractive antique carved oak chair. The antique oak chair has a decorative backrest, with a floral carved central splat, and a solid oak seat. Raised on four square legs with straight stretcher supports. Beautiful carved and shaped detail throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, shrinkage and fading to the seat and backrest (pictured). There are also minor losses to the seat edging (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique carved oak chair remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a fantastic example.
