Item Details

A magnificent and rare antique campaign mahogany drop leaf washstand table. This piece of antique campaign furniture is a combination of a Pembroke style side table, as well as a washstand. The antique campaign washstand table has a rectangular surface top, with drop leaves either side. The hinged surface top opens to reveal a washstand interior, which consists of a mirror, washbowl cutouts and compartments. There is a single fitted drawer to one end, and a single cupboard compartment to the other. The antique campaign washstand table is raised on turned legs with ceramic castors. A particularly fascinating piece of Victorian campaign furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the surface top (pictured). The antique campaign washstand table remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers and compartments working well. Overall, a great example.
