Item Details

A well proportioned Victorian antique oak kneehole desk. The antique kneehole desk has a rectangular top with a green leather inset writing surface. The oak kneehole desk has a central drawer with twin pedestals either side, forming an arrangement of eight graduating drawers, each with brass drop handles. The antique oak desk is raised on a plinth base. A particularly pleasing example, with a rich colour and grain throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the front, sides and top (pictured), further scratches and minor losses to the leather (pictured). There are also splits to the inside and outside of the pedestals (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique oak kneehole desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a neat example.
