An attractive early 20th century antique oak monks bench. The antique oak monks bench has a circular shaped backrest with decorative carved detail, which also flips over and rests on the arms to create a table top. The antique oak monks bench has a solid rectangular shaped seat that becomes a useful under tier shelf when transformed into a table. The antique oak monks bench is raised on four turned legs with straight stretcher supports. Attractive colour and carved detail throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the table top/backrest (pictured), further scratches and shrinkage to the seat/under tier shelf (pictured), also fading to the base (pictured). The antique oak monks bench remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a great example of its kind.
