Item Details

A rustic antique pine smokers bow chair or captain’s armchair. The antique pine smokers bow chair has a shaped backrest and top that is supported by spindle supports, and a solid seat. The antique pine smokers bow chair is raised on four spindle legs with a double ‘H’ stretcher support. An attractive armchair, with plenty of rustic charm. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches to the seat (pictured), but very minimal. There is minor evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The pine smokers bow chair remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a good example of an antique pine armchair.
