Item Details

Antique 18th Century mahogany tallboy chest on chest of drawers. Lovely age, colour and patina. Drawers slide freely. Splits into two halves for transport. No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely. Overall maximum dimensions: 111cmW x 56cmD x 198cmH (96cm bottom, 102cm top). In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are just a few historic extinct woodworm holes (to be expected), that we have treated for good measure. There is an historic shrinkage crack on the lower right hand side panel, which is stable glued and filled. Also, there is cracking and repairs to the cornice skirt. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying. Stock No. 8111.
