Quality large oil painting Michael James Whitehand of the British HMS Hermes aircraft carrier shortly after the Falklands War. This is a fantastic painting with a great atmosphere and use of light. Similar sized paintings by this artist have been known to make close to £10000 at auction. Very decorative, bound to get noticed and be a real talking point. The painting is very well executed and would look great in the right location! Very good condition with only minor specs or marks, free from any major defects.
