Vintage original oil painting by Richard Sladden 1933-2020).


Sladden (1933-2020) originally trained as an Architect at the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) he later moved into sculpture and then abstract painting. He came into prominence in the 1960s with one-man shows at the New Vision Centre Gallery and Alwin Gallery in London and at Arnolfini Gallery, in Bristol, as well as showing with groups in MoMA, New York.


I would date this piece to the late 20th Century.


The painting is in good vintage condition with only very minimal wear and tear.
