Large antique hand painted pottery bowl, 19th century, Meiji period.
Hand-painted with naturalistic decoration depicting a bird in flight amongst flowers and foliage with gilt highlights.
On an iron-red glazed background with gold details and stylised decoration.
It is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
Measuring 38cm diameter x 6cm high.
