An unusual pair of ceramic dip tanks circa 1940’s.


Thought to originally have been for developing prints or dying/colouring papers – these tanks have a lovely creamy salt glaze finish with fluted top ends (used for supporting the dip rails) and are branded with ‘Canning’.


They are both watertight (despite a couple of hairline surface cracks on one of them) and would make great ice buckets, water features or planters.
