Item Description
Very pretty French majolica basket of fruit shaped lidded serving dish. I love the shape and detail of this gorgeous pot. It has been made by the famous faiencerie Sarreguemines circa 1920 -1950. The lid of the dish is in the form of a basket of various fruit. The base is in the form of a woven basket with two handles. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, there is a little age related crazing to the glaze and staining inside the bowl. A few nibbles inside the rim of the lid - see photos This pot is perfect for display, but it would also be lovely for continued use. height 14 cm, width 18 cm or approx 5.5" x 7" Your parcel will be very carefully wrapped and posted within three working days
