Rare old French panel that contains samples of decorative adornment or mouldings for maybe furniture or plaster, etc. This panel has come from an old French shop and it is thought to have been used to display samples of decorative adornment that could maybe be used of furniture mirrors etc. It has been rustically made with the samples pinned to plywood with panel pins. The six samples are of the same decorative swag of flowers, pinned at different angles. It completely unique and makes a great decorative piece and talking point for the home either wall mounted or as part of a shelf display. I like it as part of an interesting selection of selective quirky nik naks, maybe old books, lace dried flowers etc. The style fits in really well with a French Nordic Decor, Shabby Chic or Industrial style decor height 38 cm, length 34 cm
