A pair of painted Northgerman bedside cabinets of classical inspiration, each with a rectangular marble top above a single frieze drawer fitted with a brass knob, and a cupboard door below enclosing shelved storage. The doors are framed with moulded panels and flanked by fluted pilaster details, raised on tapering feet. Finished in a soft distressed Farrow and Balls "Setting Plaster".The marble tops are a very distinctive marble, often sold under the names like"Rojo Alicante breccia " or "Rosso Verona brecciato".
