Item Details

An elegant Gustavian-style two-drawer chest featuring a beautifully distressed paint finish close to Farrow and Balls Shadow White. The rectangular top sits above a dentil-molded frieze. The two deep drawers are dressed with decorative  bronze-toned ring pulls  and diamond-shaped brass escutcheons. The side panels exhibit classic diamond motifs, a hallmark of Neoclassical Scandinavian design. The piece is raised on four tapered, fluted legs , providing a light and graceful silhouette.The chest has been fully restored and all the drawers are running smoothly.
