An exceptional mid-century modern Italian round coffee table dating from the 1950s featuring an original circular, clear glass inset top framed by a softly rounded wood border. The defining feature is its striking organic under-structure: a three-pronged branching wood frame that seamlessly flows down into three tapered, elegant tripod legs. This fluid, sculptural design allows full visibility of the expertly crafted cherry woodwork beneath the glass surface. This table was designed by Cesare Lacca for Cassina and is in very good vintage condition.
