Constructed using the traditional multi-layered technique, the frame showcases deeply stepped, geometric pyramid borders and prominent, extended architectural corner blocks. the top and bottom rails are further enhanced with finely detailed, central chip-carved diamond motifs. The wood possesses a warm, rich honey-brown patina, beautifully highlighting the thousands of individual notch carvings. The frame is in a very good , stable antique condition.
