Item Details

A charming 19th century North German wardrobe, crafted in solid oak and finished in a later distressed patinated chalk paint finish close to Farrow and Balls "Skimming Stone". The piece features 2 panelled doors adorned with a carved diamond motif,  opening to reveal a spacious, natural dark oak wood interior suitable for hanging and shelving. Below, a faux drawer panel adds balance to the facade. The wardrobe stands on elegant bracket feet and is topped with a gently curved cornice, lending a sense of refined proportions. A beautiful example of provincial craftsmanship, this piece brings both character and functionality to any interior.
