Double striped wedding ring quilt C 1930
This American patchwork quilt is in beautiful condition. The patch design is called “Double striped Wedding rings. It is made up of a bright white cotton backing and Green and Pink striped rings. The edging has been done in a soft yellow and is also handstitched. The back is a solid white cotton and it has cotton batting. The “rings” continue to the edge which creates a huge scalloped edge. It is hand stitched at 7 stitches per inch. The colour is vibrant for a quilt of this age
