A 19th century painted wooden piece of furniture from a chateau, which we believe to have been made as a bespoke design by a master carpenter. With its handcarved top edge and slender tapered legs it is particularly charming.  It shows age to its surface as is commensurate with its age but has been gently re-stored.  A lovely, unique piece.
