This card is from a portfolio of original works of art created by Sussex-based illustrator Peter Owen between 1950 - 1970.  Each piece has been printed from a lino-cut, hand-cut and hand-painted. 

Included is a card inscribed with Owen's original greeting, "May the consequences be a Happy Christmas". It outlines the story of the piece and enables you to write a message to the recipient, meaning this artwork can be reused and kept in circulation .  The work comes in a glassine paper envelope.
