Item Details

An antique box bench from the Carpathian Mountains region of Europe. Dating C1880, this piece has its original blue-grey painted surface, with a beautiful, mellow pine top and inner.  It has the rich patina of age and its former rural life.  The seat lifts in the middle, revealing a storage space beneath.  A great piece for a hallway or bedroom.
