Item Details

A charming Italian ceramic pitcher with spongeware pattern in chocolate, finished with a wide caramel stripe to the top.  It has a modern sensibility, despite it being over 150 years old, C1870.  From Puglia, at the southern tip of the country, this piece has a typical rustic sensibility and shows some age to its surface.
