An off-white fibreglass coffee table, from Italy C1960, stamped on the underside.
This is an early design by Mario Bellini for C & B Italia, the renowned Italian maker of furniture. Bellini's work emerged from a vibrant period of Italian design, known for its innovation and technical sophistication.
The use of fibreglass was revolutionary at the time, allowing the creation of seamless, organic shapes. This piece is in good vintage condition, with some light wear evident to the surface.
