Style: Stylish English oak buffet two tier tea/cake table with beautiful curved top tier handles and wavy edging. A splendid patina, aged to a deep dark caramel with spiral barley twist legs finished in slender turned feet. Circa 1930's.


Story: Characterised by their ornate barley twist legs, oak tea tables, buffet tables, and serving trolleys represent a distinctive furniture style with deep historical roots. Though first emerging in much earlier periods, this classic aesthetic experienced a significant revival, becoming particularly fashionable throughout the 1930s.
